Eliminate double entry with Miter and Sage Intacct

Miter syncs data with Sage Intacct each evening when daily sync is enabled. You choose which data types are included — jobs, employees, cost codes, timesheets, GL entries — and you can trigger a manual sync at any time if you need something updated before the next scheduled run.

Standard timesheet data — hours, job, cost code, employee, and billable status — syncs seamlessly to Sage Intacct. Yes. Miter supports a single-EIN payroll structure where employees are paid from one legal entity but their costs are tracked and reported across multiple sub-entities in Sage Intacct. This means related companies can share a single tax entity for payroll purposes while still maintaining accurate, entity-level job costing in Intacct.

Miter automatically reads project status directly from Sage Intacct with no manual updates needed on your end. Miter checks both the project’s “status” field and its “Job Status” field, so projects marked as completed or closed in Intacct are correctly reflected as inactive in Miter. Your teams will only ever see the jobs that are relevant to them.

Miter is built to work with multi-entity Intacct environments. You can configure exactly where your data lands in Intacct, whether that’s at the top level (shared across all entities) or pushed directly to a specific entity. This gives you precise control over how employees, timesheets, and GL entries are organized within your Intacct structure, without risking data ending up in the wrong place.

Miter uses record IDs to match data between the two systems, so duplicates are easy to prevent. As long as your IDs are consistent between Miter and Sage Intacct before you sync, Miter will match and update existing records rather than creating new ones.
