Pretty cool how they're taking our feedback and they're like, 'Oh, we see how this could be useful,' and they built it out for us. Now I assume other customers will have access to that too. Pretty impressive how quickly they took our feedback and improved the system.

The most impactful part about Miter has been our time saving throughout the company. HR, the onboarding process, project accountants, the field people – they’ve gotten time back in their day to be able to do their jobs better.

Job costing is is way cleaner. Before, people would would copy the same time sheet that they had last time, and then inevitably, three pay periods later, we'd realize they hadn't updated the job code and we'd need to transfer time from this job to that job. Miter has cut down on that by 90%.

You’re required to enter your time based on the cost codes available to you for your project. So when time gets processed, it’s automatically applied to the right cost code with the correct labor and burden amounts. That makes job costing much easier.

The integrations between BuildOps, Sage Intacct, and Miter, even since we've been implementing, have just gotten better and better. And from our feedback, they've gotten teams together to make little things more efficient.

Job costing is essential for estimating, tracking, and billing projects correctly. Before Miter, Acumatica's payroll system didn't let us use all the payroll details we needed for that. What Miter really excels at is assigning project specific cost codes that categorize labor costs correctly within the cost budget, which keeps estimating and cost structures aligned. Without that detail, we couldn't compare estimated versus actual costs. As we grow, Miter's tools help us make better data driven decisions.

Previously, per diem and comp changes meant sending emails, filling out Word forms, uploading them, and asking our accounting manager to make the change in Sage. Now I can make the change in Miter and it's applied right away.

What’s nice is that technicians can now see their total weekly hours in ServiceTitan, and when that data comes over to Miter, they can see the exact same detail there too.
